Spotlight on legacy as Glasgay! reveals dates for 20th anniversary

The legacy left by gay, lesbian and transgendered artists will be the central theme running through the 20th anniversary Glasgay! programme.
The theme of this year’s festival, which runs from October 9 until November 9, will be looking at the progress of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality and the emergence of LGBT artists from the sidelines into mainstream success.
The festival has commissioned new works by Scottish artists including The Maw Broon Monologues by Jackie Kay MBE, Cured from Stef Smith and Motherson by Martin O’Connor and Donna Rutherford for 2013.
